OFFICIAL VOLUNTEER PLEDGE

As a dedicated volunteer of FoodBank Naija, I solemnly commit to upholding the following principles of service:

  1. EMBODYING OUR MISSION
    I will serve as a passionate advocate for FoodBank Naija’s vision to eradicate hunger and malnutrition in Nigeria, aligning all my actions with our core values of compassion, dignity, and sustainable impact.

  2. ACTIVE AND PURPOSEFUL SERVICE
    I pledge to engage wholeheartedly in all volunteer activities, proactively seeking opportunities to contribute meaningfully to our food distribution, community outreach, and advocacy programs.

  3. RESPECT FOR LEADERSHIP AND PROCESSES
    I will adhere to all instructions from FoodBank Naija coordinators and team leaders to ensure efficient, safe, and impactful service delivery in every community we serve.

  4. CONFIDENTIALITY AND DISCRETION
    I shall maintain strict confidentiality regarding all sensitive information about beneficiaries, partners, and internal operations that I encounter during my service.

  5. MAINTAINING A SAFE AND INCLUSIVE ENVIRONMENT
    I commit to fostering an atmosphere of respect, ensuring my conduct never compromises the comfort, safety, or dignity of fellow volunteers, staff, or beneficiaries.

  6. HONESTY IN DOCUMENTATION
    I will accurately report all volunteer hours and activities, understanding that truthful records are essential for maintaining the integrity of our certification process.

I ACKNOWLEDGE THAT:
• My volunteer service does not constitute an employment relationship with FoodBank Naija
• FoodBank Naija reserves the right to terminate volunteer privileges for breach of this pledge
• My service hours may be verified for certification purposes
